OCTOBER CLASSES
This fall we will offer a series of Sunday afternoon classes:
October 10th: Design and selection of proper plant material for sunny locations.
October 17th: Design and plantings with a focus on shade gardens. Joining us for this workshop will be talented ceramic artist, Todd Reed. Reed, whose birdbaths and vessels are shown in our sculpture gardens, is also an avid gardener.
October 24th: incorporating edible trees, shrubs and vines into your landscape.
Time: 2 pm to 4 pm. Format will allow participants to work in small groups to develop a working design. Samples of appropriate plant material will be on hand. Before closing we will set aside time for "critique." This supportive exchange allows all participants to benefit from the ideas of each small group.
Fee: $15 per class. This includes a one gallon fall blooming perennial to take home with you. Early registration discount of $5. Early registration (paid in full) deadlines will be one week in advance of each class: October 3, 10, and 17.
